And now you know. See you tomorrow.
If you’ve ever read Coraline by Neil Gaiman, you’ll know why I say this. If you haven’t, I highly encourage you to do so.
Today’s sketch is a single line contour and I love how angular his face is and how he looks like a cartoon hunk. He was also smoking a cigarette, and I always see that as a challenge to do something else with the sketch. The lollipop is backward because he likes to be different. See you tomorrow.
This woman has such an interesting face. People fascinate me, which is one of the reasons I’m really enjoying drawing them. See you tomorrow.
I had fun with this drawing as I often do, and got very silly with it, as I also often do. I had posted it on social media and one of my skoolmates drew her own copy for a friend and gave me credit. I found it a high compliment, but most of all I was glad to brighten someone’s day. See you tomorrow.
I find dogs intimidating to draw and when I am intimidated I find it’s often good to do a single-line contour drawing which also gives the sketch a bit of style. This little dog cracked me up. His stance seems so rebellious that I gave him a rebellious quote. See you tomorrow.
