I just came back from a trip to see friends in Minnesota and I had a great time although I am still catching up on things. Part of the trip included a great sketch outing at the Minnesota State Fair, and I’ll be posting pictures from that tomorrow. My first destination on the trip was the Mall of America. This is not because I find the mall that exciting, but because I got in super early and I wanted to spare my friend the trouble of getting up early. I took the light rail from the airport to the mall because it was a good place to meet. There’s an amusement park in the middle, so I started sketching the merry-go-round. The paper was not large enough to draw the whole thing, as I have trouble writing or sketching small, so I drew two pages of the ride. The figures spoke to me, and now they can speak to you, too.

Comments are awesome! I'd love to hear them (but if you're only here to be a troll, please go back to your cave)
