2 July 2015 — #SketchbookSkool, #sketchaday



I like cars. I like goofy retro things. I love New York City. Hence, the taxi. It was fun to draw but in a small sketchbook it was hard to draw in the little checkers that give a checkered cab its name. I really like the way it came out, and the way the paper resisted the water actually made for some interesting variations in the paint. Sketching should be fun, and this sketch most certainly was.
