sketch at Seattle International Film Fest

Part of this week’s homework for Sketchbook Skool was to sketch at an event and try to capture moving subjects. These are the sketches I made while waiting in line to see a film at the Seattle International Film Festival. It is my great pleasure to write for the catalog, and they pay me in tickets. I always see some amazing films. Even while waiting people were moving around a lot. There was a lot of staring at smartphones, some people were chatting, and some were actually reading books. It was a great movie, too.
